Jess Crate handcarves each piece of furniture from southern yellow pine. Our southern yellow pine comes from the fine forests of North Carolina. More trees are planted than are harvested each year here, which creates resources for future generations, while managing for multiple uses, such as wildlife and recreation.
Our stains and lacquer finishes are completely water based and have no harmful effects on the environment both outside and, more importantly, inside of your home or living space!
